I would like to start off by thanking every one part of the AutoLyric team for their work on this project. I have a few questions about the use of the program.
1. I accidentally made a mistake in my recent "Red Velvet - Ice Cream Cake" LRC upload, for some reason one of the final lines had "I I scream" instead of "I scream". I Google translated the post in the Lyrics Upload forum, which said there should be a Delete Link option at the bottom on the lyrics details page, however, I checked on my LRC files that were already accepted, and I do not see something to delete the upload. Is this currently not working or is something wrong on my end?
http://www.autolyric.com/en/lyric/147632 This is the details URL, right?
2. Is it okay if I upload a lot (over 300 possibly) LRC files? I've been working on LRC files for a few years now, mostly K-Pop with member names in front of the lines, but a few other genres as well (without member names).
3. I tried to upload my first LRC file with the remark "Hangul lyrics. Lines have the English name of the singing member at the front. Tries to be synced to 1/100th of a second.", but it kept giving me a Error 500. Is there a character limit for the remark field, and if so, how long is it?
4. Is there a way in the lyrics editor to jump to the current highlighted lyrics timestamp in the song?
5. I like the Desktop Lyrics view, which is what I'm using, but when I go to "Edit lyrics" it disappears and only the editor is visible. Is there a way to have both visible at the same time?
6. Maybe as a (better?) alternative to 5, is there a way to have colour highlighting inside the lyrics editor? This would be helpful in seeing how well timed the LRC is, while in the editor.
7. If someone has already uploaded lyrics for a song with the same Karaoke rating, am I still allowed to upload my own version?
8. When I see English typos in the user interface or on the website, should I report these somewhere with a correction?
9. When a song's original artist/title is in a different script than Latin (like Chinese), is there a preference for how to upload them? So far I've uploaded Red Velvet in English instead of 레드벨벳, as well as their titles, does this matter?
Thank you for taking the time!

1. the delete button is on the bottom of the lyric webpage.who uploaded the lyric has permission to delete that lyric.maybe some time later, edit permission is given to the uploador.
2.it's appreciated that you could upload more high-quality lyrics which are not included yet on autolyric base.
3.yes,there is a character length limit for the remark field.max number of chars is 100.
4.editor is not provide that function yet. why do you need this?could you explain it?you could easily locate the lyric by media positon of the player.
5/6.why do you need this? when you are familiar with the edit operation, you could easily edit a high-quality lyric at one time.
7.lyric reviewer will check the lyrics uploaded.when lyrics exist already with same rating, generally the two lyrics will be compared, but maybe the lyric uploaded will be ingored sometime. so uploading duplicated lyrics is not recommmended.
8.it's very much appreciated you could report it on this forum. and you could share a new interface language file here.
9.it's not matter currently. but i think it will better using the original witten language, it's much friendly for more people who are not speak english.

Thanks for the quick reply.1.
1. When I go to the lyric webpage, the bottom of the page looks like this to me:
I disabled my browser extensions, and also tried it in Firefox, but I am not seeing a Delete option.
2. Alright, will do!
3. Will keep that in mind.
4. I am used to MiniLyrics for making LRC files. In MiniLyrics, the keybind CTRL+J would play the song at the current lyrics timestamp, I use this a lot to test if the timestamp is as accurate as it can be. The media player I use is foobar2000 with a set-up that has frequency spectrum visualizers. I use both my ears and this frequency spectrum to determine whether the current line is timed as good as possible. For example, for 's'/'ch'/'z'/'j'/'t' sounds, I time it to the 100th of a second right before the high frequencies from these sounds start showing up on the frequency spectrum. I do this by constantly using CTRL+J to play the song at the timestamp, and making small adjustments in the timestamp by changing the digits by typing.
5/6. I like having the visual feedback of how well the lyrics are timed. When a song has many repeated lines, having lyrics highlights in the editor makes it easier to keep track of what line I am about to time, whether the previous lines are correct, and to make sure I haven't missed a repeated line. When I used MiniLyrics this was very useful to me for example for the track Red Velvet - Dumb Dumb (https://youtu.be/XGdbaEDVWp0):
7. Yes, that's understandable. If there's an upload for example for Red Velvet - Dumb Dumb, but it doesn't have member names, is that enough of a difference for it to be added? Or for example, there's already Hangul lyrics, but no Romanized version, or even a translation, are those allowed?
8. Alright, I will post my findings in this thread. Is that file you're talking about the lang/lang_en_us.ini file? Can I edit it freely and see how it looks in the program? Or do I need to make a copy of it and edit that instead?
9. Hm, you might be right. But I assume most people would be able to type Latin characters, while if a title is written in Hanzi for example, I would be forced to look for the original title somewhere and copy paste that to be able to search for it. Assuming the audio file doesn't contain the Hanzi title either.
Thanks again!

9.Translated title is allowed too. The difference is your lyrics maybe can't be found online for the media using original title.
4.In my opinion,It's not worth costing too much time to edit one lyric. so the way editing a lyric referred to by you is ineffeciant. With AutoLyric Editor, I could make a precise karaoke at one time using keyboard shortcuts very quickly, and the range of error is +-100ms. Usually, the editing is done on only listening the media once. A trick is using shortcut to play Backward 3 Seconds when you feel the timing was just mistake. How to quickly make precise karaoke lyrics?

1. Thank you for fixing it,
7. Great! What's the correct way to upload romanized or translated lyrics? Do you pick the 'romanized' language for romanized lyrics, and the language of the translation for translated lyrics? Should you then put what language the song is originally in the remark?
8. Alright, I've made a back-up copy of the original and will continue editing the English one as I spot things while using the program.
4. I guess I'm too much of a perfectionist. I definitely spend a lot of time on each LRC, because of all those tiny corrections. I personally think it's worth it, but doing it your way would allow me to make a lot more LRC quickly. I don't plan on changing my way, yet, though.
(New questions)
10. Could you explain the meaning of 2 to 5 star synced lyrics? I've read the FAQ, but it doesn't go into detail about levels 2 to 5, just that they're precise (word/syllable/character sync?).
11. When selecting the lyrics language, the options are always limited and automated using some kind of language detection. When uploading very short lyrics (under 10 lines) it won't include the language I'm looking for, is there no way to select the right language when it's not in the list? I was also wondering what is considered to be enough for a language to be included. For example, a Korean song with 1 Spanish line, should Spanish be included? Or does it need to be more frequent?
12. I am having a weird issue where sometimes AutoLyric gets stuck on "Searching for lyrics...", even though there's an LRC file in the directory with the same name as the audio file. When I press (or use R to) "Reload lyrics" it works again. It seems random for which songs it does this. Once reload is used the problem won't reappear for that particular song at least.
13. When downloading lyrics that use a slightly different offset, is it possible to (permanently) change the offset such that it works for my audio file?
14. Is there a way to look at all my uploaded lyrics, and not just the most recent uploads?
Thank you for your time.

7.on "upload lyric" dialog,
7.on "upload lyric" dialog, field "languages" indicates all languages the lyric include, field "main- lang" often means the original language. if these two fields are not enough about the lyric, you may use "remark" field further.
10.star-rating means precision of the lyric. Particle size is word. In short, heigh-rating means more timestamps. 5star means every word has timestamp.
11.It's difficult to detect languages technically. I‘ve debugged and optimized this many times. a Korean song with 1 Spanish line, Spanish will be ignored.
12.maybe the searching is canceled by some operations. it's as design. so relax and be with it.

(New questions)
15. What does Tools/"Copy Head Time-tag of Above Line" do in the lyric editor? When I click on a random line in a timed LRC file, and then click that option nothing happens, and when I press ctrl+v, it just pastes something that was already in my clipboard.

I've got a work in progress language file for English, it's not finished yet. What would be the best way of sharing it so that everyone can find and download it? Usually I'd share it on Google Drive, but is there a better alternative that's not blocked for you? Even though you probably won't need an English language file.
Not really a question, but I would love to be able to update/edit lyrics I've already uploaded. You've mentioned it before, and I think it would be really nice. Currently I'm a bit hesitant with uploading lyrics I made, because I feel like I might want to improve them more, but that means I don't want to upload them yet... However, I can see how this could be tricky, because every edit would probably need to be approved by the approval team, right?
I've also come up with a few more questions:
17. When making karaoke lyrics, what should you do when two lines overlap? So there are parts which are sung at the same time.
18. How would you time lyrics in a language you can't read? Such as Thai or Japanese? I would be able to time it when it's romanized, but it would be a lot of work to replace each syllable (for karaoke style) with the original character to have it in the original script. Is there a better way?
19. Would it be possible to have desktop lyrics mode with multi-lines and intermittent roll? And with fade-in and fade-out for the next/previous lines? Currently I'm using the 2-line desktop LRC view, but I'd like to have the multi-line with roll and fades. I've tried the Classic LRC view, but the font is very pixelated there, like it's not using anti-aliasing. And because the next line(s) is/are always visible, it is possible that inactive lyrics is shown for a long time during instrumental parts of the song. I like fade-ins a bit before the line is active for this purpose.
Thank you again for your work, I've been using the Classic LRC view for a few weeks already, instead of MiniLyrics' Floating Lyrics.

Problem with bilingual line.
Example:
[02:26.13](Chaein) [02:26.13]Stay [02:26.54]out [02:26.69]of [02:26.94]my [02:27.33]sight[02:27.74][02:29.30]
[02:26.13][02:26.94]La[02:27.17]la[02:27.35]la[02:27.54]la[02:27.76]la[02:29.30]
This works great, but I encounter a weird issue when the second line has a 0s long text part at the start and I can't figure out why:
[02:38.53](Yuki) [02:38.53]We [02:38.61]just [02:38.92]go[02:39.36][02:40.53]
[02:38.53][02:38.93](Goeun) [02:38.93]기[02:39.03]분 [02:39.30]매[02:39.58]우 [02:39.74]꿀[02:40.13]꿀
What is supposed to happen is that when the second line is supposed to start highlighting, "(Goeun) " is immediately completely highlighted, followed by the scroll highlight for "기". However, it seems like the karaoke-start timestamps (so [02:38.93]) are ignored, and AutoLyric uses slow scroll highlight for "(Goeun)" starting at the original timestamp of [02:38.53]. I apologize if my explanation is confusing. I would have shared a video, except I don't know where you would be able to access it.
By the way, I use that zero-width character because if there's nothing between the first timestamps, the line seems to get duplicated and the karaoke scroll breaks.
Would you know how to solve this? If I remove [02:38.93](Goeun) from the second line, it works as expected, the line doesn't highlight until the timestamp of "[02:38.93]기" is reached.
For single-line cases, this works perfectly such as the first line of the first example, (Chaein) is instantly highlighted, followed by scroll highlight for "Stay", but it has this issue I mentioned for multi-language style cases.

Forgot to explain the empty timestamp at the end.
1. [A 02:26.13](Chaein) [02:26.13]Stay [02:26.54]out [02:26.69]of [02:26.94]my [02:27.33]sight[B 02:27.74][C 02:29.30]
2. [02:26.13][02:26.94]La[02:27.17]la[02:27.35]la[02:27.54]la[02:27.76]la[D 02:29.30]
3. [E 02:29.30](Yuki) [02:29.30]그[02:29.46]냥 [02:29.60]놀[02:29.74]아 [02:30.16]다
If timestamp C is missing, the highlights for line 2 suddenly autocomplete once timestamp B is reached and starts fading out. To make sure the highlights for line 2 work like normal, I added timestamp C to line 1, which is the same as timestamp E. In this case, I also added timestamp D to line 2, which is also equal to timestamp E, because the last "la" lasts until the next line starts.
I'm sorry I'm overcomplicating your program, but this file is so close to being perfect, there is just this strange issue I mentioned in my parent message.

More questions/suggestions
22. Is it possible to set a maximum fade-in/out time? Currently when a song has a long instrumental section, the previous lyric line very slowly fades out and the next line very slowly fades in. I would like it if the lines fade out quicker in these cases, and fade in later.
I don't know how hard it is to do any of this, and I understand that you don't want to add features that are too complex, and/or that would not be used by many people.
23. When seeking in the song (so by going back to an earlier part, or skipping to a later part) the Desktop Lrc Style, sometimes it's not able to show the next lyric line, or it appears a bit too late. Is this a known issue?
24. My friend noticed a few spelling errors in the installer. It is not part of the language file, so I'll just post the correction for the first line in the image here:
"Support for foobar2000 v0.9.x, v1.x (DUI component only for v1.x)"
25. Should I share my English language ini file on Pastebin? Or copy paste the whole thing in a Forum post? Also, I renamed "Lrc Link..." to "Choose Lrc...", because I thought it is more user-friendly.
26. I noticed the language file included a "LRCRatingMenu" section. Is this an abandoned feature, or is it work in progress? The timing and lyric reports seem useful.
I hope I don't seem rude with all these suggestions. I really like your program, and I understand if the things I mentioned do not interest you.

21. I didn't mean a search
22. I think I understand, it uses half of the time until the next timestamp to fade out the previous line? That's what it looked like for me. Maybe this is related, but when I have a line-end timestamp at the end of a song, the line doesn't fade out. Maybe you could use the length of the song to use as a 'fake' invisible timestamp which is used for fading out the last line in this case? I do wish there was a way to change the behaviour to prevent slowly fading-out lines in the middle of the song during instrumental sections.
26. Oh, I'll try to pay attention to that.
